Jason Lindner Big Band @ The Jazz Gallery

Not really much of a review, as it's hellishly late and I'm ready to call it a night, but suffice it to say the gig was killing and we had a good hang with Jason & Co. afterwards at The Ear. (They had Elvis Costello's "Shipbuilding" on the jukebox -- nice.) Also, The Jazz Gallery was completely packed -- I got there too late for the first set and barely made it in for the second. Lots of people who lined up in the cold had to be turned away. So if you're planning on going tomorrow nig… er, well, Saturday night -- make sure you call for reservations. And hey, Jason's recording both nights for a future CD release, so keep an eye out.
