• I don't have a copy of the issue yet, but apparently my name appears in this year's DownBeat Critic's Poll, in the "Big Band, Rising Star" and "Composer, Rising Star" categories -- not at the top of the list, obviously, but given the nature of these polls it's nice just to be in the room.
