I'm at the Banff Centre for the Arts all next week -- I'm honored to be part of this year's Jazz Workshop faculty, and very excited to be working with what I'm told are a very talented group of young musicians. I will be running a bigband that will work on Secret Society music and (I hope) student-composed music, and I'll be conducting various composition masterclasses and such like. I was last at the Banff Centre over 10 years ago as a student, which was an incredible experience -- I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to give back.
