As announced in this month's Secret Society News-Letter (maybe you'd like to subscribe?), scores and parts for selected tunes from the Secret Society Songbook are now available from this site -- click the new "Scores & Parts" button above, or just click here. This is obviously something we've been planning for a very long time and it's a huge relief to finally have some properly presentable sheet music available to offer.
Here's the deal:
- Scores are free to download (PDF format). Knock yourselves out, fellow Jazz Nerds.
- We hope you already own a copy of our record, but if you don't, you can follow along with the scores by streaming the tracks on demand from the New Amsterdam Records website.
- If you want to actually perform this music with your band, you'll most likely be wanting the parts as well as the score. We offer complete sets (parts+score) in two formats: Digital Download and Physical Delivery.
- Digital Downloads = DRM-free PDFs. They cost $75 per chart and delivery is instantaneous. As soon as your transaction is approved, you'll automatically get a link by email where you can download the PDFs. (I know this seems like the most obvious thing in the world, but it was trickier than you might think to set up!)
- Physical Delivery = 9"x12" parts (pictured above) on really nice paper (Mohawk Superfine Soft White Smooth - 100# text), taped as booklets, with an 11"x14" coil-bound score. This method costs $115 per chart, plus shipping. (All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail.) I print, tape and bind each chart to order, so please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery -- perhaps a bit longer if you happen to place an order while I am on the road! However, Physical Delivery also includes a free Digital Download -- I will send you the PDFs within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- You can pay by credit card or by PayPal, using the currency of your choice. (You don't need a PayPal account to purchase.) Physical Delivery orders ship worldwide.
A Jazz Nerd salute to you for this. Been waiting a long time for these.
