Those may be my favorite opening credits for any movie. I don't know if Bert Stern just intuited the link between Giuffre's music and Impressionism or if someone suggested it to him, but looking at the sunlight rippling through those watery, reflected images while "The Train and the River" plays is like contemplating a Monet.
