Since starting this blog, I've been sorely neglecting my usual haunts in the progressive blogosphere, so I only just now noticed that one of my all-time favorite bloggers, Tristero, has returned to do some guest blogging for one of my other all-time favorite bloggers, Digby. Tristero went on a long hiatus following the 2004 election to concentrate on Other Projects -- he is, in his non-blogging secret identity, a first-rate composer and, incidentally, one of the first people to welcome me to New York. He is also a fearsomely incisive wordsmith and his return to the active-duty Blue Team roster is most welcome.
